Sam Koh
Lead Pastor
Pastor Sam is a graduate of Biola University and received his M.Div. at Talbot Seminary and his Th.M at Fuller Theological Seminary. Pastor Sam is often found on campus casually hanging out in his flip flops, laughing really loud and fellowshipping with everyone. When he’s not on campus, you’ll find him on the streets of El Sereno inviting others to find refuge in God and in the community at Hillside. Pastor Sam resides in Orange County with his wife Shanie and son Benji. In his free time, you will find him surfing or fishing the Pacific Ocean, providing one of his greatest joys— to share his catch with his church members.
Andy Lim
Associate Pastor
Pastor Andy Andy earned his B.A. in English from UC Irvine and later completed his M.A. in Pastoral Studies at Azusa Pacific University. A bivocational pastor, he also works as a high school English teacher outside of his ministry duties. He's been part of the church since his days as a youth group student and has faithfully served the Lord ever since. Outside of church, Pastor Andy cherishes time with his wife, Jane, and their two children, Karissa and Nathan. In his free time, he enjoys grabbing meals with friends, reading, and playing basketball.
Art Rojas
Associate Pastor
Pastor Art was born and raised in El Sereno. He is a community organizer and missionary who graduated from LBI Institute in Whittier, California. Pastor Art loves giving back to his community and helping our unhoused neighbors in El Sereno and Northeast Los Angeles. In his spare time, Pastor Art enjoys reading, learning about history, and watching his favorite sports teams - Raider Nation, Go Dodgers, and Let’s go Lakers!
We exist in partnership with Los Angeles Christian Presbyterian Church in the areas of mission, Christian Education and Fellowship. LACPC has been a church that was established in the greater Los Angeles area since January of 1976.
